Quality Control: Site par Steel (Rebar) check karne ka sahi tareeka 🏗️
Construction mein steel (sariya) structure ki backbone hoti hai. Agar steel ki quality compromise ho gayi, toh building ki life kam ho sakti hai.
Ek Site Engineer ke liye ye zaroori hai ki wo steel ko site par aate hi aur fixing ke time properly check kare.
1. Physical Verification (Site par aate hi kya dekhein?)
- Brand & Grade: Fe500 / Fe500D / Fe550 drawing ke hisaab se check karein
- ISI Mark: Har bar par company marking honi chahiye
- Rust: Light rust normal hai, lekin heavy flaking reject karein
2. Diameter Check (Vernier Caliper Test)
Bar ka diameter exact hona bahut zaroori hai.
Problem: 12mm ke jagah 11.5mm bar use ho gaya toh strength kam ho jayegi.
Solution: Vernier caliper se diameter check karein.
3. Weight Test (Sabse Important)
Steel weight ke basis par purchase hota hai.
Formula:
Weight (kg/m) = D² / 162
Example: 10mm bar → 10×10 / 162 = 0.617 kg/m
4. Bend & Re-bend Test
- Bend Test: 180° bend par crack nahi aana chahiye
- Re-bend Test: Heat ke baad bhi crack nahi aana chahiye
5. Lapping and Spacing (Site Execution)
- Lap Length: General rule 50D
- Clear Cover: Slab 20mm, Beam 25mm, Column 40mm
- Staggering: Joints ek hi location par na ho
